Terms of Use
Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using the Parcy mobile application and web services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using the Parcy mobile application, web dashboard, or associated services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.
2. Scope of Service & Disclaimers
Parcy provides automated zoning feasibility analysis, automated property valuation estimates (AVM), buildable envelope modeling, and conceptual floor plan designs specifically tailored to California properties under state and local ADU statutes (including California Government Code §§ 65852.2 and 66310 et seq.).
Parcy is an estimation and conceptual design tool. All analyses, buildable area estimates, financial ROI projections, construction cost bands, and generated floor plans are informational only and do NOT constitute formal architectural, civil engineering, land surveying, legal, tax, or investment advice.
Property boundaries, setbacks, utility easements, historic overlays, and municipal building codes must be independently confirmed with licensed California architects, land surveyors, and your local Department of Building & Safety prior to construction or permit application.
3. User Accounts & Security
When you create an account with Parcy via Apple, Google, or Email authentication, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and device security. You agree to immediately notify Parcy of any unauthorized access to your account.
4. Credits & Purchases
Certain advanced analysis features (including deep rental comps, architectural consultation exports, and generative MEP plans) require Parcy credits. Credits are stored on a server-authoritative ledger and deducted upon feature execution. Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable except where required by applicable law.
5. Acceptable Use & Abuse Protection
You agree not to:
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to overwhelm or extract bulk property records from our endpoints.
- Attempt to circumvent per-user or per-address rate limits or credit spend controls.
- Reverse engineer or decompile any portion of the mobile application or CAD/geometry algorithms.
- Submit false or fraudulent parcel corrections.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable California and federal law, Parcy and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, construction delays, or permit denials arising from your use of the Service.
7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
